We Are Hosting Africa’s Biggest Virtual Charity Concert And We Are Counting On Your Support.
Ellerman House, together with UCOOK and rain, is proud to bring you Africa’s biggest concert from your couch, the Music For Meals Charity Concert.
This two-hour feast for the ears will feature 13 top local and international artists who have leant their voices in an effort to raise much-needed funds. The impressive performance lineup features incredible acts including Dave Matthews of the Dave Matthews Band and Tom Morello alongside South African homegrown favourites like The Springbok Nude Girls, Prime Circle, Karen Zoid, Watershed and The Parlotones. Tickets cost just R80 (ZAR) or $5.99 (USD).

Funds raised by the upcoming Music for Meals Concert will go towards short-term crisis relief from the devastation caused by COVID-19 as well as long-term food security and education initiatives. The goal is to raise 10 million South African Rand in order to protect Cape Town’s communities from further COVID-19 related malnutrition and poverty, and to foster long-term, sustainable community programmes.
Under the banner of the Click Foundation’s Click123 Disaster Relief Fund, the Music for Meals Concert will immediately support a number of community based initiatives targeted at providing regular meals and food parcels to communities, and in particular children. Long-term partnerships will focus on the UCOOK PEDI Farming Program and Click Foundation’s Online Literacy Program, which reaches over 100,000 children in 162 areas across 4 provinces.
