Ellerman House Location

Ellerman House is an historical landmark situated on the most spectacular site on Kloof Road in the premier Cape Town suburb of Bantry Bay. Bantry Bay is wind-free and has panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Directions

As you leave the airport area you will come to a traffic light and a BP garage. Travel straight, remaining in the right hand lane. The road forks to the right before the bridge. This will feed you onto the N2 Highway, direction Cape Town. As you approach the city, take the Strand Street off ramp (left) and travel through the city on Strand Street, which will become High Level as it travels uphill away from the City. At the end of the road turn right into Avenue Fresnaye and second left into Kloof Road.

Six years ago, Tim Cumming returned to South Africa after being invited by the owner of the Grand Hotel and Villa Feltrinelli in Italy to consult on operational standards and service.

Tim took up the helm at Ellerman House with a vision ‘to create the finest small luxury hotel in the world’ and he has succeeded in taking Ellerman House to a new level of elegance and excellence.
