Almost twenty years ago Paul Harris, owner of Ellerman House, set out to create a wine collection of unparalleled standards and quality. Each of the 7,500 bottles, housed in our professionally maintained cellar, represents the very best wines from the world renowned estates of the Western Cape.

Always on the lookout for new and exciting wines, our experienced operations manager sources wines from both established and emerging vineyards. We have a dedicated cellar for new releases, which we bring to maturity, and have the revolutionary Le Verre de Vin preservation system, which allows us to pour premium still and sparkling wines by the glass without compromising quality, giving you the widest choice of excellent wines.

Our collection also sources award winning vintages from prestigious wine auctions, such as Nederberg and the Cape Wine Makers Guild. Our attention to detail has been recognized by the Diners Club Wine List Award, which gave us their highest accolade – a Diamond Award.

Our selection of rare and vintage wines, some going back to 1980, guarantee special moments at the table when combined with our exceptional menus, ensuring a memorable experience, never to be forgotten.
