Tour Overview
On this 10-day tour you’ll get to experience the best of Southern Africa, with Cape Town, Botswana and the Victoria Falls in Zambia on the itinerary. Spend the first few nights in Cape Town with day trips to nearby sights such as the Cape Winelands, Table Mountain and Cape Point. Then head into the wilderness of Botswana for a truly remote safari and continue on to the banks of the Zambezi River, close to the mighty Victoria Falls.
Day 1-5
Cape Town
4 nights | Ellerman House
You will be met at Cape Town Airport and transferred to Ellerman House for four nights. During your stay experience the Mother City in all its splendor with scheduled day tours that take you to Table Mountain, Robben Island, the Cape Winelands and Cape Point. On the last day fly from Cape Town to Johannesburg.
Day 5-7
Botswana
2 nights | Great Plains Zarafa Camp
From Johannesburg Airport you will be transferred to Maun Airport in Botswana. From Maun take a charter flight to the Great Plains Zarafa Camp, voted Best Safari Property in Africa 2013 by “The Good Safari Guide Awards”. Enjoy three nights here where you’ll enjoy one of the best safari experiences in Southern Africa, with both land and water-based activities available.
Day 7-10
Victoria Falls
3 nights | Royal Chundu Island Lodge
After your Botswana safari, take a charter plane from Selinda Airstrip near Zarafa to Kasane Airport where you will cross the border into Zambia. Check into Royal Chundu’s luxurious Island Lodge on the banks of the Zambezi, a few minutes from Victoria Falls. There’s plenty to get up to here – such as bungee jumping, white water rafting and scenic helicopter flights. On the last day you will be taken to Livingstone Airport for your flight to Johannesburg.
